The Lobuche East (6,119 m) and Island Peak (6,189 m / Imja Tse) combined expedition is one of the most rewarding high-altitude mountaineering adventures in Nepal’s Everest region. Combining both peaks allows climbers to double their summit achievements while leveraging optimal acclimatization gained on the trail.

Day 01 :

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m); and transfer to hotel.

Day 02 :

Permit issue, gear check, permits, and trip briefing.

Day 03 :

Fly to Lukla (2,840 m), trek to Phakding (2,610 m), appx. 4 hrs. walk.

Day 04 :

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,440) appx. 4-6 hrs. walk.

Day 05 :

Acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel / Khumjung (3,880 m).

Day 06 :

Trek through Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m) to Dingboche (4,360 m).

Day 07 :

Acclimatization hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,080 m).

Day 08 :

Trek from Dingbuche to Labuche (4,930 m) appx. 4-6 hrs. walk.

Day 09 :

Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) / Kala Patthar (5,545 m); sleep at Lobuche.

Day 10 :

Move to Lobuche High Camp (5,400 m); pre-climb rope and gear training.

Day 11 :

Summit Lobuche East (6,119 m); descend to Base Camp / Dingboche.

Day 12 :

Trek to Chhukung (4,730 m) and on to Island Peak Base Camp (5,200 m).

Day 13 :

Summit Island Peak (6,189 m); descend to Chhukung.

Day 14 :

Contingency / weather reserve day.

Day 15 :

Trek down via Pangboche to Namche Bazaar appx.6-8 hrs. walk.

Day 16 :

Trek down via Phakding to Lukla. appx. 6-8 hrs. walk.

Day 17 :

Morning flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 18 :

Transfer to airport to for final departure on your destination.
