One of the best known and most visited treks in the Everest region, in Sagarmatha National Park (Sagarmatha being the Nepalese name for Everest). This trek can be done, according to your desire, in accommodation in lodges or camping. Due to the growing success of this type of trek, accommodation in lodges has developed a lot and offers very good quality services.
This trek offers, like many treks in Nepal , a great diversity of landscapes, ranging from low-lying rice fields to snow-capped peaks. You will approach the Ama Dablam, which shares the limelight with the Macchapuchare for the most majestic mountains of Nepal. You will evolve in Sherpa community.
This circuit is a variant of the trek that we call “Everest-Kala Pathar” because it provides a round trip to the Everest base camp , departure of the expeditions for the mythical summit. You can also continue by the Cho La Pass pass and descend by the Gokyo lakes. Many of these treks are detailed in our section, but it is not exhaustive! Do not hesitate to contact us to customize your tour!
Everest Base Camp is one of the classic treks of the world. The mountain scenery is amazing and the Buddhist Sherpa people are incredibly friendly. Along the trails colorful prayer flags and Buddhist monuments are seen against a backdrop of glorious Himalayan Mountains.

Our trek starts with an unforgettable flight from Kathmandu to the mountain airstrip at Lukla. From here we ascend through alpine forests and fascinating Sherpa villages to the prosperous village of Namche Bazaar, the trading capital of the Khumbu. Two nights in Namche and a detour up the Bhote Kosi Valley to Thame village provides essential acclimatization as we explore trails less frequented by the western trekker. Continuing higher through the main valley we arrive at Gorak Shep and ascend the amazing Kala Pattar (5600m). Views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers including the black rocky ramparts of Everest’s southwest face are simply awesome.
We also have a day to visit Everest Base Camp at the foot of the massively impressive Khumbu icefall. Our return journey will take us to Thyangboche Monastery, the most important centre of Buddhism in the area, before ending our trek at Lukla and another chance to experience the exciting mountain flight to Kathmandu.
