Sukman Tamang is a highly experienced and knowledgeable figure in the Nepalese tourism industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Siddhartha Trekking.

He was born in 1979 in Chimding, a village in the Solukhumbu district of the lower Everest region, Mr. Tamang developed a keen interest in tourism from a young age. Mr. Tamang’s career began at the foundational level, working initially as a porter. Through dedication and continuous skill development, he progressively advanced his roles.

Professional Development: He successfully upgraded his skills, serving as a trekking cook before completing a guide training program at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), qualifying him as a professional guide specializing in French-language.

Guiding Expertise: Over a period of more than 10 years, Mr. Tamang worked as a French trekking guide for several reputable agencies, including Pike Peak Trekking and Allibert Travel Agency.

With over a decade of hands-on experience and a profound, well-rounded knowledge base spanning every aspect of the tourism sector, Mr. Tamang now leads Siddhartha Trekking, bringing his wealth of expertise to its strategic management and operations.

Mingmar Tamang was born in 1993 in a village in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal, where he completed his early schooling before moving to Kathmandu. He was born in the main tourism hub and attractive point of the Nepal Everest region and has had a deep appreciation for tourism since his childhood school life. He has a Bachelor in BSW (Bachelor in Social Work). He has been interested in tourism from the beginning of his life.

He started working in the tourism sector in 2012 as a porter and later became a tourist license-holder guide in 2014/15 AD. After becoming a tourist guide, he traveled to many famous trekking areas in Nepal, like Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Larke Pass Trek, Lantang Gosaikunda, and so on. Now Mr.Tamang is Operations and Administration Manager Siddhartha Trekking (P) Ltd. With a bunch of high-energy young men each with a great sense of humour, which comes in very handy. He enjoys nature and has worked with many clients from different countries on mountaineering expeditions to lead treks whenever the opportunity presents itself.
